We were lucky enough to come across a teacher, Lander Carter, teaching the Warren Hardy method of Spanish.  I was very skeptical of taking classes with the few weeks that I was staying in Mexico, but my experience was amazing.  The material is so well organized and easy to learn.  It felt wonderfully empowering and fun to do. We were able to use what we learned in our day to day life in Mexico. It opened up many doors already and we have only done Level 1 so far.  I would recommend the Warren Hardy method to anyone and everyone.  Lander Carter is a fantastic teacher who cares that you learn.  It was well worth the money and we will continue doing classes as we go back each year to enjoy Mexico.

We loved our Spanish course with Lander and think he is a very good teacher and that the Warren Hardy materials that he uses in the course are excellent.  We want to come back and take all of the levels with him.  We have studied Spanish in different places, schools and formats and strongly believe that the course we took with Lander, using the Warren Hardy method and materials is the best we have encountered anywhere.

I took a class from Lander this past February, 2010. I had no prior language skills.  Lander showed extreme patience and was constantly encouraging me, pointing out the differences progress-wise from one week to the next to keep me motivated.  I finished the course feeling that I could put together simple phrases comfortably.  It's on me now to continue practicing the words and pronouncing them so that I don't lose what I gained in such a short period of time.  Thanks for the encouragement.  It was great!

Lander Carter manages to keep every lesson vital and interesting.  Slowly and carefully he builds a student's confidence in their ability to speak Spanish and reinforces it with every lesson.  He works equally well with beginners and with more advanced students.  He knows how to challenge a student to ever greater heights without intimidating them.  I found the Warren Hardy method to be a well thought out learning tool that enables students to  speak in simple sentences very quickly thus increasing their self-confidence in the Spanish language.

Having lived in Barcelona for the past five years, I have been immersed in a Spanish speaking country, yet without the fundamentals I was lost in regard to speaking the language. Now that I have completed Level 1 of Lander Carter's  San Pancho Spanish School, I can't say enough about it.  The approach gives you the fundamentals that you need to create simple and powerful sentences to begin conversing with the local merchants, restaurants, farmacias, and residents.  By learning 6 key "power verbs" and a practical vocabulary list, you can create sentences that help you express yourself.  Lander's personal style is engaging, interactive, stress free, and fun.  I recommend it highly.  I look forward to coming back to take Level 2.

Taking the Warren Hardy Spanish Level 1 course was the best thing I could have ever done for my Spanish skills.  In the past, I've been able to communicate my needs in Spanish, but never with any confidence.  I considered skipping Level 1, thinking I knew most of the curriculum, in favor of Level 2.  Now I know that to start at the beginning is an absolute must.

I now have the missing pieces to proceed with great confidence.  This is a no-brainer for anyone who is seriously considering learning, not just the language, but also the culture which makes Mexico so unique.

Through the years, I've taken several language classes in French, Spanish, German and Italian.  The Warren Hardy method that Lander uses gave me a refreshing new way to learn Spanish.  It was especially helpful in gaining the use of many verbs  in everyday conversation.  The tools offered with the course made it fun and will be helpful as I continue on my own until the next opportunity to take another session.

The Warren Hardy method as presented by Lander was my first experience learning a foreign language.  The way the course was presented really helped me with the verbs and vocabulary necessary to communicate my basic needs in Spanish. Lander was always very well prepared for each lesson and made sure my pronunciation of the vocabulary was correct!  I looked forward to each new class in Level 1 and I look forward to taking Level 2 in the future.  The vocabulary cards, workbook and CD's will allow me to review the material at my leisure after the intensity of the 8 classes.

If you want to learn Spanish there is real plan and structure here and it is complete.  This Spanish course is set up so that I could do Spanish self-study as a complement.  I didn't have to look to other sources for missing pieces.  Working with a partner forced my attention into an active role and I liked that.
